Role Purpose
•    To promote and ensure quality teaching and effective learning of English.
•    To provide learners with a rewarding and stimulating English language learning experience.
•    To maintain and enhance professional development and academic quality in the teaching centre, through the management of in-house teacher development programmes and support.
•    To support the wider aims of British Council and its cultural relations mission

About You (essential requirements for the role):
•    Experience of line managing/ coordinating teaching teams.
•    Experience in teaching relevant age groups as specified here
– Early Years aged 2 to 5 (400+hours).
– Primary aged 6 to 10 (400+ hours).
– Lower Secondary aged 11 to 14 (800+ hours).
– Upper Secondary aged 15 to 17 (400+ hours).
•    Full Mastery of English across 4 skills, equivalent to CEFR C2 (IELTS Academic Paper Band 8/9 in each of the 4 sections).
•    Undergraduate Degree.
•    Cambridge DELTA/Trinity Diploma TESOL or equivalent as recognised by the British Council.
•    Relevant Young Learner qualification (for ST YL).

Further Information 
•    Location: Cairo, Egypt
•    Contract type: One or two years (according to preference)
•    Other requirements:  This role is open to Egyptian and UK nationals only
•    Gross Salary: Starting from 17,228 EGP monthly

Currently there are no income tax deductions, only for social insurance.
